Gianpiero’s teaching focuses on leadership, team dynamics, personal and professional development, and the behavioural aspects of organisational change. He has developed a portflio of teaching materials and educational designs, and currently researches the social and psychological aspects of management education and leadership development.

 

At INSEAD, he teaches "Leading People and Groups" in the MBA programme, directs customised leadership development programmes for executives from a variety of industries, and teaches in executive programs such as The Leadership Transition and Consulting and Coaching for Change. He also designed and directs the "Leading Management Education" programme. Prior to joining INSEAD, he was Visiting Professor at CBS Executive, Copenhagen Business School, where he received teaching awards in the MBA and Executive MBA. He also contributed regularly to executive education programmes, and to the MBA, at IMD International in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Gianpiero consults to a range of international organisations on the design and implementation of in-company programmes for developing high potentials into effective and responsible leaders. Over the last decade, he has contributed to refining a unique approach to experiential leadership development currently used within Business School and corporate settings. These programmes usually include a combination of classroom work (case teaching; lectures; classroom simulations) and experiential learning opportunities (outdoor activities; project team work; individual coaching).
