Leadership and team dynamics are central domains of Gianpiero's practice, research and writing. His leadership development work aims at deeepening clients' understanding of leadership, and at increasing their capacity to exercise it effectively and responsibly. His writing in this area focuses on the influence of unconscious factors in small group leadership; effective experiential learning methods; and the application of a clinical approach to corporate leadership development Among Gianpiero's main areas of expertise is helping groups and teams deepen their understanding of covert processes in order to further task effectiveness, openness of group’s interactions, and personal and professional development of group members. He has worked as a consultant in several Group Relations conferences organized by the A.K. Rice institute in the US, and as a T-Group trainer in Human Interaction Laboratories at the NTL Institute. Gianpiero also provides training and supervision to group consultants, and is an expert in the design and delivery of experiential group activities for leadership development and team-building.
