Gianpiero is Affiliate Professor of Organisational Behaviour at INSEAD, in Fontainebleau, France. He is also Visiting Professor at CBS Executive, Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.  He teaches and consults in Management Development programmes in Europe and the US, in the areas of leadership, team dynamics and personal development. In addition, he consults to a range of international organisations in the design and implementation of programs for developing "high potentials" into effective and responsible leaders.

His writing and  interests focus on the influence of unconscious factors in small group leadership; the emotional dilemmas of high potential managers; the application of a clinical approach to corporate leadership development; the experience of becoming a professional change agent; experiential learning; and the interplay between neuroscience and psychology.

Gianpiero received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Catania Medical School, Italy, then trained in Psychiatry at the same University, and in Advanced Organizational Consultation at the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations in London, UK
.  He is a psychotherapist in private practice, and currently  serves as President of the International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA).

He is a member of the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioural Science, the Washington-Baltimore and Boston Centres of the A.K. Rice Institute for the Study of Social Systems, and the Tavistock Institute’s Advanced Organizational Consultation Society.

He is Italian and lives in Montigny sur Loing, France
